Bombshells August Hump Day HOP!!!

Alison Mistress of the Blog Hop has come up with a rip roaring way to see out the Summer with a big Ol' Western Style send off!

"Hello Bombshell Fans! It's time to announce the August Hump Day Hop theme. This month, the theme is "Cowboys and Indians." Bombshell Stamps has plenty of fantastic images to go with this theme in rubber AND digi form! So what kind of fun Western styled project can you come up with? "

Now I love anything vintage and Cowboys and Indians says Old Movies to me so that's the theme of my three ATCs I created

First Calamity Kate.....

...which could describe me this week as I'm covered in bruises!!

Next is Texas Burt...

...the gentle and kindly cowboy doing good always raises his hat to the ladies!

Finally the noble Indian Leader...

...protecting his People and defending his traditions.

I used various papers collaged onto the ATCs, inked with striped cord added.

I used Western Gal , Indian Princess, Bucking Bronco Bombshell Stamp sets coloured with Spectrum Noir pens TN1, TN2, TN3, TN4, TN5, TN7

Now go hop and see what the wonderful Alaine has created and remember to leave a comment for a chance to win a Bombshell Stamp set of your choice!

Skull Love!

November 1st and 2nd was Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead, a Mexican celebration in which families gather to commemorate their loved ones who have passed on.
There are many traditions associated with the Day of the Dead Festival including the creation of sweets from pressed sugar in the shape of a skull, which is decorated with icing flowers. These sugar skulls and Catrinas, carved figurines with a skull head are used as grave decorations or offrendas and during the widely held feasts!
Here at Bombshell Stamps we have several beautiful sets of stamps that are inspired by the Day of the Dead festival see them all HERE!

I created a mini shrine in honour of my relatives- combining beauty with the macabre!
