New Quilt
This time it's a quilt for my Little Miss Acorn!
I bought some lovely fabric Tula Pinks Hushabye and Hunky Dory
And I'm using this fab pattern from Moda's Bake Shop designed by Rachel of PS I Quilt
So the pieces are cut and pinned together and I'm slowly sewing my way through the pile but already they look prettiful!
Must get sewing- only another 12 blocks to go!!

First Quilt TAKE TWO!!!!
SO I was rushing and I bunged my quilt in for a quick wash with my new blouse COMPLETELY forgetting it was an Indian blouse and therefore not Dye fast- DISASTER!!! :(
Despite much washing and dye removal products Quilty Mk 1 was a dingy mess.
So I thought I'd do an overhaul and then realised I actually had enough fabric left to re-do the quilt completely! YAY!!!
So a busy weekend ensued and I'd pieced it together.
I used the scraps to make a border (of which I am very proud as it is traditional, use the leftovers type patchwork!!)
I bought some yummy fabric to back it with and tada- Quilt Mk 2 is ALIVE!!
And yes those beagles and that daughter have already had their mitts/bums on it *sighs*
Hmmm I wonder how my quilt 'grew' hands and legs???!!! *grins*

FINISHED!!!!
If you remember THIS POST
I was pootling along with the patchworky part of my quilt!
If you are interested you can read my Adventures in Quilting over on IACW (part 2 later this week!)
But I've had a blast making my quilt and I even HAND quilted in the ditch (don't look too closely at the stitching though!!) *grins*
I decided to take a few piccies of it yesterday....which proved to be quite a CARRY ON!!!
First of all Rowdy made himself at home....
Then Little Miss Acorn and Miss Willow (Senior House Beagle) got in on the act!!!
SUCCESS....well NEARLY- a picture with ALMOST no daughter and no dogs!!!!
THEN Miss Willow took to guarding the quilt whist Rowdy skulked all furtive- like in the background
.....and sure enough Rowdy hopped back on and they started using it as a beagle wrestling mat!!!
