Allowed to change my mind!

Yesterday was World Card Making Day!!!
At Bombshell Stamps we had a big ol' Blog Post to celebrate!
There was a slight problem with my post...I forgot that Saturday was the 6th!!! For some reason I thought the 6th was Monday DOH!!!!....

...so feeling rather silly I rushed a card to go on the blog. And oh boy did I wrestle with that card!
I knew the Bombshell I wanted to use and I had an idea of how I wanted it to look- but I could NOT get things to come together no matter what paper or colours I used.
Have you ever had that- it's SO frustrating!!!

So first of all I came up with...

I wanted a psychedelic look to give the impression Alice was FALLING down the rabbit hole- the rhinestone spirals and the inked background from the first card just didn't work for me, so almost as soon as it was completed I took it apart!

This time I went for a neutral background with a splintered look- all of which worked much better for me!

So there you are....I don't know what you think but I've learnt over the years not to put up with something I'm not happy with 'cos it bugs me!! ;)

September Bombshell Blog Hop!!!

Many of our major holidays are just around the corner. I think we all know what my favorite holiday is (Halloweenie!  )...but what's yours? My challenge to you is to make a Bombshell project for your favorite holiday. Bonus points if you make a decoration!!! Use any holiday you want and create something that's going to make us want to celebrate!!!

So what sort of things does Mrs Monster have in her den?

Well she decorates with her own special touches:

...and a place on the shelf for her potions (she likes to cook)....

...and of course when the stresses of the day become too much there's always some liquid relaxation on hand.....

Bombshell Stamp Release BLOG HOP!!!

We have some GORGEOUS new digital Bombshell stamps HERE being released today and to celebrate we're having a lil Blog Hop to show you how much fun you can have with these three beauties!!

Now these Bombshells have a definite Halloween vibe but I wanted to show that they are very versatile.
I coloured her with Copic Ciao marker R59, R29, R22 for the dress; 100, C7, C5, for the cloak; E00, E02, E11, E09 for the skin.
