Design Team Throwdown!

Smeared & Smudged is running a Design Team Throwdown which Myself, Kathi Rerek and Alison Heikkila have entered
The first challenge is Paint and Splatter!

Here's my project!

I used my Mermaid Anchor stamps and added a the little skull face from Calaveras Fiesta. The background stamp is Homeward Bound stamped onto tissue and layered onto the background for a ghostly look !
they were coloured in using Spectrum Noir pens GT1, GT2, GT3, JG1, JG2, JG3, JG4, JG5, BG2, BG3, BG4

I created a shadow box using acrylic paint in cream, turquoise and gold and added SPLATS of each colour as well as sprays of gold and blue mica sprays for glimmer!

Hop on over to Smeared & Smudged's Blog for a look see at everyone's projects!!

I love the cheesy grin on the mermaids fave, and the way you have 3d'ed her x

Your shadow box has worked very well as this project has great depth. Love the eerie skull face you have used. The sailors would have a fright if they found the sirens singing their intoxicating songs looked like this.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful work with us at Crafting When We Can Challenges. :-) xx

Fab shadow box and an unusual image - I don't think any of the sailors would be jumping ship for her, LOL
Thanks for entering the challenge at Gingerloft this fortnight,
