A Little SteamPunk

I've been loving Steampunk for a while so broke out some fun stamps and digi images from this tag:

Lots of embossing on this one and die cutting!!

Supplies:
Stamps: Tim Holtz ; Queen's Dresser Drawers: Stamper's Anonymous
Digi Balloons: Jen Ulasiewicz Designs
Inks: Distress Stains, Distress Inks
Other: Tim Holtz Cogs Dies; Seam Binding

Happy Birthday!!

A lil card for a special chap who's eighteen!!

Supplies:
Paper: Cosmo Cricket and Basic Grey
Embellishments: Seam Binding, Tissue Tape, Glass Glitter, Dymo Tape
Stamps: Stampotique Gobby Lin
Colouring: Distress Inks water colour brushes
Dies: Spellbinders Labels Seventeen & QuicKutz Finale Grande numbers

I stamped Gobby Lin on lined paper and used Distress Inks with a water colour brush to colour him in.
I cut him out using Nestabilites Labels 17:

I cut out '18' from the QuicKutz Finale Grande font and coated it with silver glass glitter.

I took a length of seam binding that was twice the width of the card and made a running stitch down the centre to gather it in.
I dampened the seam binding and squidged green Distress Stain on to it as well as some brown Distress Ink. I then crumpled it up and left it to dry.
I added the seam binding to the card with a little Dymo message.

And that's my card for a very special nephew,

Love Katie xxxx
