Scrappy time...

Two weeks ago I was lucky enough to spend the WHOLE weekend with a group of mad women, similarly obsessed with patterned paper and all with a love of gluing and inking!! We had a blast though goodness knows what 'normal' peeps thought of us when we ALL trogged in with AMM totes stuffed with a miriad of crafting stash and tools!
Well I had a productive weekend as well as a hilarious, loud and BONKERS one!!!

RIP Randy Pausch

Today I saw on obituary for Randy Pausch and I was intruiged by the headline 'The Last Lecture' so off I went to YouTube where I was entranced by this lively, warm, funny man, Randy Pausch talking about achieving your childhood dreams. As I watched I was joined by my son and 'DH' who were also drawn in by the lecture. An hour later I was inspired and thankful to have shared time with this wonderful man. I hope you can spend on hour watching the lecture and enjoy it as much as I did!

Step Back in Time!!!

I found this oh so cute photie of 'The Boy with the Hair' taken when he was just TWO! Look at his chubby knees, snotty nose and dimples- soooo sweet!!! He's even MORE cheeky now!!
I used the gorgeous October Afternoon papers.

Charming!

Been making some charms for a swap this weekend- had fun with Shrink plastic, Primas, Buttons and Stampboard!

'Little Miss Acorn' pointed out that the button charms somewhat resembled Makka Pakka from 'In the Night Garden' (a scary childrens' programme on Cbeebies!!) I see what she means!!

Went over to Archi's 2 weeks ago and we had a play with ATC's. Archi seemed a bit nervous of inkiness but I tell you, you are a natural!!! We had a storming session- with Archi making at least 8 beautiful ATC's and I made an unheard of 6 (I usually make that many in a month if I'm lucky!!)
So thank you to Archi for a fabby day- twas the BEST!!!!
I'm going to HAVE to get some more Art Stamps when I get my pocket money- loving the Paper Artsy stamps!
Still obsessed by Trees!!! Stamper's Anonymous need a shopping visit too me thinks!!!

Dr Who!!!!

Ooooh it was exciting and terrible at the same time!
BOOOOoooooo to Yukky Davros!
I do hope that Donna still has that beetle on her back and that we're still in an alternate reality cos I don't want David Tennant to stop being the Doctor. But Mickey and Ma Tyler are back!!! Hooray!
Nervously awaiting the last episode- 60 odd minutes of nail biting on Saturday!
See a trailer here.
