It's BLOG HOP TIME AGAIN!!!!!!!

Inky's Challenge this time is: Mama Said Knock You Out!

No physical violence here, just time to dust off your PUNCHES and use your NESTIES (QuicKutz, Sizzix, Big Shot etc.) to create your next Bombshell Masterpiece! We all have some fun punches and cutting shapes lying around, so why not use these valuable items and get our money's worth? All you have to do, is make sure something on your card has been punched or die cut....extra credit if there's a hole in your card. *giggle Don't make Mama mad....just start knockin' things out. *wink*

Here is my version:

I used my Bombshell Angel- I stamped her cozzie on red gingham paper.
I used October Afternoon papers and ledger paper by Making Memories.
I Dymo'd the sentiment on plain paper then rubbed ink over the top.
I used Quickutz Label die and Quickutz Heart dies for the embellies.

Kathi came up with an awesome Sketch for February which I used for my card



Here's my Bombshell card for February's Wet & Wild contest (see detail of competition and what you can win HERE!!!)

I used the Mermaid Anchor Bombshell stamps.
She was coloured with copics and glittered.
I found a clip art Scallop shell online and painted it with pearly paint and added a bit of glitter....OK I used a TONNE of glitter *grins*
The patterned paper is Fancy Pants (I think!)

Here is the Mermaid used in a different way- I stamped her onto cotton and coloured her with Copics.
As you can see I'm madly into quilting and used fabric from the awesome Tula Pink- LURVE her designs!

Cool T-shirts

LOVE these from Balcony Shirts in my old stomping ground of Uxbridge.
Spoke to a very nice chap on the phone who made me a Bicester shirt in navy as I'm not a pale blue gal!!

I love my car!

I used Kathi's January sketch for my first card using the Bombshell Speed Shop set.
The Inchies are randomly stamped with Speed Shop stamps in black ink and The gorgeous car is coloured up using copics:
Y24, R27, R29, R59

Feel the Lurve

Had a lovely Valentine's Day, yesterday with my 'Dh'- we've been together nearly 20 years, that's half our lives!!
We had a grown-ups day sans children on Friday with a trip to the Ashmolean in Oxford-we were full up with culture!
So after a coffee and cakey we went to see the dinosaurs at the Natural History museum and look at the shrunken heads at the Pitt Rivers Museum!
While looking at the dinosaur we discovered that our FAVE dinosaur at infant school for BOTH of us was the Triceratops-see 'twas destiny and dinosaurs brought us together!
Anyway here's a lil' card I made for my baby using lovely October Afternoon papers and Grungeboard shapes and lots of inky, ink!

 

So I guess I'm hooked....

.....on quilting as I've ordered a second lot of fabric by the hugely talented Tula Pink.
So here's what I have....NEPTUNE!
Isn't it GORGEOUS?!
The 'Boy with the Hair' asked very sweetly if I could make him a quilt as he's a born snuggler and I was more than happy to agree!

 

I think he liked it!!
