Hump Day Hotties Bombshells Blog Hop!!!

Well after Christmas and I had a great time but haven't a CLUE what day it is!!!
This is a project I made in the autumn- I wanted to create something that looked like Pyrography- the image burnt into the wood!

I used an off cut of wood from DH's bathroom DIY and stamped the image with brown Staz-on!
I neatened the back of the piece of wood up by covering it with a page from an old book and I finished the edges with some copper tape which I stuck on then rolled flat!
Tim Holtz ideology bits and piece went well with the metal and wood look so ON THEY WENT!!
So there you have it one LOVE TILE in wood!!

So now I'm off too to see what the other Bombshell's have created, so come hop with me!!!

I got a wood-burning set for Christmas and was wondering how it would look with my Bombshell Stamps.

Your faux-pyrography is stunning. What an incredible piece of art. I love the aging and the details.

Great job.

Great project! I knew there was more use for Timmy's stuff than just tags! lol The metal with this really sets it off! Note to self...must get brown Staz-on!

Thanks, Katie, for this marvelous technique that looks like it was burned without actually using fire. DH worries about me being safe when I play, and this appears to have been done in a decidedly "unsafe" way.
