Hump Day Blog Hop No. 11
Remember there's another Bombshell goodie bag up for grabs with Novembers Challenge!
November's Monthly Grab Bag Prize!!!
You have 2 ways to win play along and enter a son/music inspired Bombshell project AND Start at any of the Design Team Member Blogs and take a peek at their Hump Day project. Leave them a comment and tell them what you think about it! Then follow the links to the other DT member blogs and leave them comments. The more comments you make, the more entries you will have to win a great prize from Bombshell Stamps at the end of the month!
- HOW COOL IS THAT??!!
This week the Bombshell girls challenge is
Who's Got The Button?
They hold up our pants, keep our shirts closed, and yes, they even add a little extra something to our cards. This week's challenge is to use buttons: shell buttons, faux buttons, sparkly buttons, panic buttons...any type of button you please. The more buttons the merrier in fact, just make sure you use a button
I love those button embellishments by Jenni Bowlin and really wanted to have a go at making my own Bombshell version!
I used 2 quickutz button dies one large and 2 small:
I cut buttons from light chipboard and from Making Memories Ledger paper and stuck the ledger paper over the chipboard to make the buttons.
I then stamped my Bombshells onto my buttons.
For a vintage look I coloured the stamped images with Sepia shades of Copic pens: E00,E31,E33,E35
...and then you have your own Bombshell button embellishments! I'm going to use mine for layouts and cards and make the larger button into a lapel badge!
Now hop off to the next blog and happy crafting!

Went scrapping...
....on the 8th to a lovely place up on the hill near Whipsnade zoo- spectacular drive up there!
Had a great time with my mate Archie and did some scrapping. Met a nice lady called Jackie (sorry if I've spelled that the wrong way!) who told me I looked like a certain Katie S-J *grins* hope you didn't mind my teasing, I've not been mistaken for myself before!!
Scrapped a couple of layouts and made a mess with the Hermafix- I got it all over my photo as one point! *tuts*
Magnolia papers and Embellishments from the Slice
Cosmo Cricket papers and stickers and QuicKutz Nutmeg font.

Bombshell Blog Hop 9
Can you believe that it's already November??! Where does the time go?!
With a new month we have a new Bombshell- Mary G
Here is Mary's cool challenge for November- create a card using a song (or music) as your inspiration
We can't wait to see what you all come up with!!!
After playing with my Sugar Daddy stamps last week, I had such a blast dressing Sugar Daddy up that I thought I'd have another go!
He's such a spiv, you know a real wide boy, always up to something shady with a wad of cash in his pocket, wearing a sharp suit and a hot babe on his arm!
Well I couldn't get the song 'Mack the Knife' out of my head!!
Although with those flares and those pimp looks I was tempted to make him DADDY COOL a real 70's disco number by Boney M! *grins*
Oh the shark has pretty teeth dear
And he shows them pearly white
Just a jack-knife has Mac-heath dear
And he keeps it out of sight
When the shark bites with his teeth dear
Scarlet billows start to spread
Fancy gloves though wears Mac-heath dear
So there's not a trace of red
On the sidewalk Sunday morning
Lies a body oozing life
Someone's sneaking 'round the corner
Is the someone Mack the Knife?
From a tugboat by the river
A cement bag's dropping down
The cement's just for the weight dear
Bet you Mackies's back in town
Louis Miller disappeared dear
After drawing out his cash
And Mac-heath spends like a sailo
Did our boy do something rash?
Sukey Tawdry, Jenny Diver
Polly Peachum Lucy Brown
O the line forms on the right dear
Now that Mackie's back in town.
So go hop around the blogs and remember to leave a comment for a chance to WIN with Bombshell Stamps!!
