This week's Challenge!
Yep, good ol' Martha Stewart, you can always count on some fun crafting ideas. This week's challenge is to use her Coffin Template to create your own Coffin and do it up Bombshell Style!
So play along by popping along to Martha's site and picking up the templates!
I decided to make my 'Bombshell' girl into an Angel AND a Devil- you can decide which one suits your mood by giving her a little spin!
LOVED making the little coffin- really easy and quick to do- I made mine slightly smaller than Martha's so it was the right size for my Bombshell!
Here you can see the ANGELIC BOMBSHELL with Sugar Daddy- he's a Baaaaad Old Wolf!!!
Look at that CRAZY zoot suit!!
Sugar Daddy was paper pieced with October Afternoon papers from Report Card and Farm Fresh and coloured using Copics C1, C3, C5, C7, C9, his shoes with E31, E15,E17,E18
Angel Bombshell was coloured using E00, E02, R20, her outfit was V000,V12 and V17 and her hair was E15,E17,E18
Devil girl was coloured using Copics R22, R27, R29 and R59 her outfit is the same as the Angel Girl.
Here's a little film of the Coffin Spinner in action!

Katie, you've outdone yourself. The naughty/nice bombshell is freaking awesome and I adore the way you pieced the Sugar Daddy!
Wow!
Oh Yeah Katie! This is one rockin' project! I absolutely LOVE that she is two-sided and the wolf is there encouraging "Norty-ness." (What a fab suit you created for the wolf too!) Stellar!
This is really cool! I love that you made a spinner for it!
GREAT JOB! love the coloring!
OMG, no way! THIS IS BAD@SS!!!!! Where do you get these spinner ideas!?! They are always so awesome, and perfectly made and colored. And your wolf is pimpin!
OH MY WORD. The spinning action is too cool. And your paper piecing is AMAZING!!!
I don't know which is cooler - the spinner or the suit.
Way to think way outside the box and come up with something really, really special.
Great job.
Yes, you've definitely outdone youre self with this one!! LOVE the spinner and that Sugar Daddy's suit is fabulous!!!
LOVE it! Super cool with the spinner! Sugar Daddy is such a pimp! LOL!
OMG, that coffin kicks a$$!! I LOVE how you made it spin. Oh,and the wolf - the paper piecing is perfect!! Thanks for the video, too!
This is just something, so glad you had the video so we could really see the spin on things! Love the sugar daddy. Just a great take on your challenge!
This is awesome! Could be my fav! This is so retro cool and sooooo 70's. Great job!
I love the ZOOT Suit!!! It's awesome! I also love the angel/devil! Freaking great man!
OMGosh, that is AWESOME. You did a wonderful job. Love the suit.
Oh My!! This was by far the most ingenious thing ever!! I love the accent used on the sign...nothy...I can image the wolf saying it in a very husky British voice. BTW fab job on the paper piecing, I also have high regards for paper piercers cause I don't have that type of patience.
nice wood looking coffin. I love the way your bombshell fits in it!! So great!
wow.. love the copic work, and what a brilliant idea.
Amazing, how do you all come up with this stuff!
AWESOME, loved the wolf the most. outstanding job and attention to detail.

I love what you did for the coffin challenge! Your big, bad wolf is great...and thanks for the color indicators! Love those copics!

OMG I love the Wolf's Zoot suit. FABBO! This is a great project. I like the theme and the two sided bombshell.
I really like this. You put a lot of work and creativity into it.
I love your spinning ideas!! SO fun and creative
I love how you used the woodgrain. and the wolf is pretty fab!
so clever can hardly stand it!!! Luv the wolfie.
I hate to admit this but it took me reading your post a couple times to realize it was a spinner! BAHAHAHA!! I kept thinking the girls looked different but for the life of me it did not register at first! Too super cute!
Loving the sugar daddy and the spinner coffin. Too cool!
Love it- the spinner is awesome and the Pimp Daddy is adorable
This is amazing! I love every aspect of it! Oh and his zoot suit is awesome! ;o)
Absolutely incredible, Katie. All the details on both of the girls are fab. The sort of smarmy looking wolf you can just tell thinks he is irresistible in his snazzy suit!
Amazing! Spinner, Bombshells in a casket, a zootsuited wolf, who could ask for more?
I love the interactive piece just like a pop up book from when I was a kid
Devilishly clever you tricky girl! Where do I start!?? This is amazing Katie! I just ran downstairs to give the DH the full description and a spinning dance to show him how it works. The whole concept is rad, but then you even outdid yourself on piecing together the wolf so superbly!!! Blown away once again!
Very cool project! I need to get my stamps back out and play!!!
just like a magicians cabinet. Very cool
Love your "spin" on the coffin challenge. Lot's of work went into Sugar Daddy too. Such a creative idea.
Amazing project. I like your take on this challenge.
