Bombshell's 'Hump Day' Blog Hop!!!

READY to Blog Hop??!!!

So as you know my lovely new 'A Pirate Life' Bombshells arrived last week.
Since my EZ-Mount arrived and I didn't get TOO much hair stuck on it, it was time to stamps and colour!
I have to say that learning to use Copics does fill me with trepidation, there are so many FABULOUSLY talented wenches out there who do such an amazing job with the pens! However once I start- I find 'colouring in' Soooooo relaxing!!

Here's my efforts on Miss Feisty Pirate girl- I went for 2 different looks.
I was feeling much more confident by the time I coloured Pirate girl in green, Pirate girl in BLUE was my first attempt and I think it shows!!

I'm slowly getting to grips with the different colour combinations (again thanks to all the online information from so many lovely Bloggers out there!) and learning as I go!

Here's the Parrot- I think I'll have fun with colouring him again!

So I hope you are enjoying the Bombshell Blog Hop I have a linky list to the other Designer's Blogs on the right so scoot round and have fun!!

Happy Wednesday!!

*giggle...looks like you're well on your way to becoming a wench too!

I love love love it! (Now you're going to make me want this set. Evil I tell ya.) *wink

BTW: I find it best to sprinkle some baby powder on your EZ Mount after you've placed your rubber down. It helps keep your scissors from getting gunky and cuts down on hair too.

Nice coloring job! I'm still learning to shade...I think it's a learning process that takes time, but you're doing great with it!

I was wrestling with EZ-Mount yesterday too - dog hair, my hair, my Tim HOltz scissors gunked from here to tomorrow... but now the stamps are ready so it's worth it.

Love the color ups on these girls. The blue one caught my eye first - you are a genius with shading.

And I love the parrot - makes me want to pull him out and play. You're so right, coloring is relaxing.

I think you did a great job. Shadowing them from different angles, and blending your colors, so they look like natural shadows. I am really not good at that yet. These ladies look great. Enjoy learning more about the Copics.

I WISH that I could color like that - The shading on both of the wenches' skin is just amazing! MWAH!

You're insane. Both look great -- especially if you've just started!

Use your Blender pen to push the color back into the lines for the blue one and it'll be perfect.

That said, the shading on the green one is perfect (though the shading/shadowing on the blue one is great too) and you did a totally awesome amazing job on the parrot. In fact, you've inspired me to give him a try.

I'm glad you are having fun with the Copics. I'm actually taking my certification class tomorrow. Might just post a tutorial on my own blog afterwards. Anything in particular we want to know about?
