Dotee Dolly

I'd seen a dotee doll on someone's blog and thought I'd like to have a go. I'm not in a scrapping mood ATM and so my knitting has reappeared! I bought some lovely fabric by Kaffe Fassett from an ebay shop in shades of green. Friday night I sat at the dining table and started- sewing is minimal so it took no time at all to create the body. I added random beads for her 'hair' and used felt for her face. The next day I painted up some Grungeboard with Ranger Paint Dabbers and Lumiere paints and added these to Miss dolly. She was really quick and fun to make!
The kids all decided that they's like to make one each and even though they started out with the same basic doll body they managed to come up with three very cute and very different dotee dolls!
Miss Acorn has made a second 'Little Brother' dotee for her doll and I have another two on the go!
