Last month's challenge set by Alison was Photo-Synthesis- to use Bombshell stamps with a vintage photo on a scrapbook layout.
So here's my take on last month's challenge.
It's a photo of my Pops taken before I was born! He spent 22 years in the RAF and a lot of time in the Far East.
Here he is on one of his expeditions in Malaya in about 1965/66.
I love his typical 'Englishman abroad' look!
I used the perfect 'Dad' digital Bombshell stamp.
Papers are from Tim Holtz's Paper Stack and the stickers are 7gypsies.

From our Blog Hop Captain Kas:
Some Like it Hot, Hot, Hot....
Flames on the Hot Rod stamps
…and of course Summer colors
(if you have Gauche Alchemy kits...try Banana Hammock, Lady Marmalade or Scarlett Red Fever...)
I don’t know where you live, but it has been blazing here this summer, so hot is definitely on my brain.
This is going to be a combined hop with the Girls over at Gauche Alchemy!
There will be of course the chance for a great prize package:
This Month's Bombshell is Boho Rose:
The challenge is to make a card, layout, altered item, etc inspired by Burlesque.
Put simply, burlesque means "in an upside down style". Burlesque turns social norms head over heels.
Burlesque, performers often create elaborate sets with lush, colorful costumes, mood-appropriate music, and dramatic lighting, and may even include novelty acts, such as fire breathing or contortionists, to enhance the impact of their performance.
By the 1880s, the genre had created some rules for defining itself:
* Minimal costuming, often focusing on the female form.
* Sexually suggestive dialogue, dance, plotlines and staging.
* Quick-witted humor laced with puns, but lacking complexity.
* Short routines or sketches with minimal plot cohesion across a show.
So break out those beautiful bombshell gals, glitz and feather them up and feel free to use some raunchy, witty sentiments too!
The THIRD way to enter the draw for the fabbo prize is with Kathi's August Sketch challenge
Here's her ace sketch:

This time it's a quilt for my Little Miss Acorn!
I bought some lovely fabric Tula Pinks Hushabye and Hunky Dory
And I'm using this fab pattern from Moda's Bake Shop designed by Rachel of PS I Quilt
So the pieces are cut and pinned together and I'm slowly sewing my way through the pile but already they look prettiful!
Must get sewing- only another 12 blocks to go!!
